Lena Gößler is a trainee child and adolescent psychotherapist and public health graduate based in Berlin. She holds an M.Sc. in Public Health from Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Her research focuses on patient and public involvement (PPI) in stroke research, with a particular interest in understanding the challenges and facilitators of meaningful stakeholder engagement. In her master’s thesis, she used qualitative interviews to explore how family caregivers can be integrated into the research process to enhance relevance and impact. Her work is situated at the intersection of participatory research, mental health, and patient centered care, with the aim of strengthening the integration of lived experiences into health research and practice.
