Aristides Chorattas

Biography

Dr. Aristides Chorattas is the Chief Nursing Officer at Nicosia General Hospital, Cyprus, and serves as the President of the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN) and the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association (CYNMA). With over 30 years of experience in nursing, she has held leadership roles in clinical practice, education, and healthcare policy.

he holds a PhD in Nursing from the Cyprus University of Technology, a Master's degree in Management of Health Care Units from the Cyprus Open University, and a Bachelor's (Honours) degree in Cancer Nursing from the University of Manchester. Dr. Aristides Chorattas has played a key role in advancing nursing legislation, workforce development, and professional standards in Cyprus while representing the country at the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the World Health Assembly, and other international forums. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences on nursing leadership, oncology nursing, and healthcare development.
